Deacon 8875 Thermal Reactive paste sealing compound
Basic a sealing putty with characteristics which overcome basic all general products in the market . Be honest where you find a putty, who can handle temperatures till 982°C and 345 bar at the same time?
The key is that Deacon 8875 will expand in the presence of heat and at the same time filling any voids, imperfections on the flange faces. Therefore Deacon 8875 can be used with and even without a gasket. Seal superheated steam ? . NOx gases, catalyst , exhaust of hot air in pipes lines and containment vessels. Deacon 8875 will not cement flanges together and is fully compatible with thermal cycling. Therefore very suitable for gas turbines, hot blast valves , burner isolation valves ed.

Features:

Applications as a gasket dressing- Deacon 8875 improves the sealing capability of many gaskets materials.

Instructions for the best effect :
- The Surface should be clean, dry and free from oil or foreign material.
- Apply a thin coat to sealing surface with a putty knife.
- Close and tighten the joint – use the torqued to the equipment manufacturer’s specification. ( bolted flanges)
- Product will cure in service with heat.
Curing :
The guideline for curing to a full cure at various temperatures. A Seal will be achieved before a full cure is reached.

Note: In high pressure application or when pressure testing at ambient, it is recommended to pre-cure with a heat gun, oven or dry fire / blow down at atmospheric ( running heat without pressure). Unlike silicone or epoxy products – Deacon Thermosetting sealants require heat to cure.

NCS-30® ECF™ is a premium quality, nonmetallic compound containing chemically inert fibers and EXTREME PRESSURE and ANTI-WEAR additives. These are blended into Jet-Lube’s biodegradable base grease, which gives a wide temperature range, superior adhesion to wet steel surfaces, resistance to water wash off and the ability to withstand invert and high-pH mud.
NCS-30 ECF is biodegradable, bioaccumulation potential-free and non-toxic to all kinds of life forms tested. This compound has the distinction of being the first compound to achieve a “Yellow” HOCNF rating in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea making it permissible in sensitive drilling areas such as the Barents Sea. It also has the distinction of being the first drilling compound to achieve a substitution warning-free HOCNF rating as well as an “E” classification in the UK sec-tor, simplifying the completion of PON15B applications.
