The older types of the MFF 20 were designed with a flow from outside to inside . The down side is that the filter element can damage by starting with cold oil in case the oil heater is defect and the compressor is started with to cold oil . The filter elements for these filter houses version are the T8-F .
Many customers have upgraded the filter housed with a flow redirection kit like the picture. In case the kit is missing you can use our Filter element T8-F which are reinforced.
